Eatontown Taxi Driver's Body Found Near Dumpster In Hazlet Motel Parking Lot: Prosecutors
A taxi driver from Eatontown was found shot dead outside a Hazlet motel, authorities said. Anthony Hill, 42, was found dead on Saturday, Sept. 14, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Officers responded to an emergency medical call in the parking lot of Holly Hill Motel on Route 36 at around 7:18 a.m. Police found Hill with several gunshot wounds on the ground near a dumpster. Woman, 23, Killed In Millstone Township Motorcycle Crash: State Police
A Monroe Township woman was killed when her motorcycle crashed into an SUV in Monmouth County, authorities said. Laura Wildner, 23, died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 13, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck on County Route 1 in Millstone Township at around 4:27 p.m. Investigators said Wildner was riding east on a Yamaha motorcycle and a Ford Edge was heading east. A former Monmouth County gymnastics was indicted after being accused of sexually abusing three teenage gymnasts, authorities said. Officials have identified the man struck and killed by an NJ Transit train on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Monmouth County. Anthony DePalma, 39, of Atlantic Highlands, was struck at the Monmouth Street crossing in Red Bank and involved North Jersey Coast Line train 7240, according to an NJ Transit spokesperson.
