The mercury will look more like early April than early February for the first two days of the workweek, but don't get too used to it.
A storm will arrive at midweek, bringing rain to most of the region, and freezing rain farther north.
Here's a look at what to expect:
Monday, Feb. 4: Winds will be calmer on a mostly sunny day in which the high temperature will climb into the low 50s. With the rising temperature, look for patchy fog overnight.
Tuesday, Feb. 5: Partly sunny, with a high in the mid to upper 50s.
Wednesday, Feb. 6: Clouds will increase on a day in which the high temperature will be around 40. The chance for rain starts around 5 p.m., with the storm expected to arrive after 9 p.m. as all rain for the entire region. Areas north of I-84 will see freezing rain overnight.
Thursday, Feb. 7: Rain continues throughout the day with the high temperature reaching the low 40s in the afternoon.
Friday, Feb. 8: There's a chance of rain before noon, and a chance of afternoon showers on a cloudy and warmer day with a high in the low 50s.
