Crashes On I-684 Near I-84, Route 202 Cause Delays

Separate motor-vehicle crashes caused delays just as the Friday evening commute began in Northern Westchester,  Putnam and Dutchess.

The first occurred on northbound I-684  just before the junction of I-84 (Exit 9). Delays stretched back to Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road).

The other crash occurred on westbound Route 202 near the Westchester/Putnam line around 4 p.m.
