Four teenagers have life-threatening injuries after a crash between a school bus and a car in Northern Westchester. Yorktown HS Student-Athletes Sign College Letters Of Intent
Six Yorktown High School student-athletes signed letters of intent recently to play sports at their chosen colleges, bringing the total number of athletes from Yorktown who will play on Division I and II teams next year to 18. Yorktown Schools Closed Tuesday For Outages, 'Hazardous Utility Condition'
As Con Edison crews continue cleaning up from the weekend’s Nor’easter, the Yorktown School District will remain closed on Tuesday as approximately 10,000 in the town are still without power. Yorktown Schools Superintendent Ron Hattar announced on Monday afternoon that “due to the continued power outage in most (Yorktown) schools, a hazardous utility condition outside of Crompond School and concern about safety at bus stops,” all Yorktown schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 6.
