Dutchess Man On Parole Accused Of Dealing Meth In Putnam, Sheriff Says A  man on parole has been accused of dealing meth in Putnam, according to the Putnam Sheriff. Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they developed information that a man was involved in the sale of methadone within the county in July of 2019. NEU members allegedly made contact with the man, identified as Thomas Simmons, 39, of Dover Plains, and arranged for the purchase of Methadone. New York State Police in Brewster received multiple complaints of fraud from customers of R&D Flooring on Route 22 in Brewster beginning in September last year, prompting an investigation by detectives.
