School Bus Hits 2 Teens, 78-Year-Old Driver Leaves Scene In Westchester: Police A school bus driven by a 78-year-old man hit two 16-year-olds before then leaving the scene in Westchester County, police said.  The incident happened on Tuesday morning, Jan. 31 in Yonkers when the two teens were crossing the street while the bus turned left from Warburton Avenue onto Lamartine Avenue, Yonkers Police Public Information Officer Dean Politopoulos said.  The two teens suffered minor injuries and were treated at a hospital. Police Search For SUV Driver With NY Plates Who Passed Stopped School Bus In Fairfield County Connecticut State Police are asking the public for help identifying a red SUV that passed a stopped school bus in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 3:10 p.m., Thursday, June 2 in New Fairfield, said police. The bus, which had its sign out and red lights flashing was stopped on Route 37 southbound at the time the red SUV with New York tags blasted past the bus, said the state police. School Buses Burst Out In Flames In Northern Westchester Buses burst out in flames in a bus lot in Armonk for the second time this school year. The Armonk Fire Department was dispatched to the area of the bus garage on MacDonald Avenue Friday evening at about 8 p.m. The first unit arrived on the scene immediately and confirmed two small school buses fully involved with multiple cars parked nearby, the Armonk Fire Department said. Three School Buses Catch Fire In Northern Westchester Garage Three school buses caught fire in a garage in Northern Westchester on Saturday. The Armonk Fire Department said it responded to the bus garage after a report of a burning smell at 10 Macdonald Ave. in Armonk late Saturday afternoon. Upon arriving, firefighters found three large buses fully engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the original buses, the fire department said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
