Separate I-684 Crashes Snarl Evening Commute This story has been updated. Separate crashes caused stop-and-go delays on I-684 during the Tuesday evening commute. A crash reported at 6 p.m. at Route 22 (Exit 3) in Armonk led to stop-and-go traffic back to Route 120 (Exit 2). An earlier crash caused stop-and-go delays on northbound I-684 at the junction of I-84 during part of the commute. The crash, reported at 4:30 p.m. in Brewster, caused gridlock back to Hardscrabble Road. Delays of 20 minutes or more were reported.
