Photos: Tree Comes Down On Occupied Car In Mahopac A lucky driver was not injured when a large tree can down on top of their vehicle and a firefighter happened to be nearby. The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. Monday on West Lake Boulevard, said officials with the Mahopac Falls Fire District. When the incident went out over the emergency radio for help, one of the district's firefighters was on his way home when he heard the call and responded in his work truck.
