Hansen 25, of Pleasantville, died on Thursday, Oct. 1 at his residence. He was an officer with the Town of Bedford Police Department. He was born on June 15, 1995, to Dean and Vikki (nee Palmieri) Hansen in White Plains. Science Classroom Smell Forces Evacuation At Pleasantville High School Pleasantville High School was evacuated out of precaution on Friday morning due to an unusual smell in one of the science labs. School officials notified parents of the evacuation at approximately 9:30 a.m., transporting them temporarily to the Pleasantville Middle School. Emergency crews were called to the school and gave the “all clear” less than an hour later, allowing the students to return to the building without further incident.
