Woman Fatally Hit By Car While Walking In Westchester A 73-year-old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking along a roadway in Westchester, authorities said. The crash happened in New Rochelle just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, near the intersection of Pinebrook Boulevard and Amherst Drive, according to the New Rochelle Police Department.  The victim was walking northbound on Pinebrook Boulevard when she was hit by a northbound vehicle driven by a 23-year-old woman, police said. An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department on patrol shortly after 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2 received notification of a multi-car crash near the intersection of Meadow Road and Hutchinson Avenue, with at least one vehicle’s airbags being deployed.
