Transportation Supervisor Resigns Amid Bus Delays, Complaints At Mahopac Schools Mahopac School Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo announced that district Transportation Supervisor Pamela Romeo has resigned. The change comes after ongoing transportation problems and complaints since the first day of school on Sept. 5.  Parents reported that elementary school children were arriving home from school as much as two hours late.  Some buses were late arriving at school in the morning, in some cases disrupting the morning roll call for attendance. Two Students Charged In Threats To Hudson Valley Schools Two students were arrested in unrelated incidents for threatening area schools in the Pine Plains and BOCES school districts, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. The first incident took place around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when deputies responded to the BOCES Tech Center in the Town of Hyde Park for a report of someone making threats of “shooting up the school” via Snapchat, said Capt.
