Police Bust Motorist With Pound Of Pot During Putnam Traffic Stop Officers from the Kent Police Department conducting a safety checkpoint busted a man for multiple drug charges after he was found to be in possession of more than a pound of marijuana. Officers conducting a traffic safety and inspection check on Ludingtonville Road at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 27 said that they observed a pick-up truck being driven by Apex, N.C. resident Peter Nanos, 22, which had several equipment violations.
