Hudson Valley Man Forged Checks Totaling $47K, Police Say A 37-year-old Hudson Valley man forged numerous checks, stealing approximately $47,000 in the process, state police from the Poughkeepsie barracks said. Troopers received a complaint of a larceny on Maple Lane in the town of Clinton on Oct. 5. An investigation determined that Jason M. Conlon forged 12 checks in the victim’s name and stole approximately $47,000 in U.S. currency, police said.
