2-Car Crash Blocks Traffic At Busy Carmel Intersection A two-vehicle crash held up traffic at a busy Hudson Valley intersection, firefighters said. The crash happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, Feb. 28 around 6:10 p.m., when two cars collided in Carmel at the intersection of Route 6 and Crane Road (Route 32), according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  The collision sent one car off the road into some brush, according to photos of the crash released by the department.  The cause of the crash was not released.

2-Car Crash Causes Fluid Spill On Busy Carmel Road A two-car crash in the Hudson Valley caused a temporary closure on a busy road to allow crews to clean a fluid spill.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Feb. 23 just before 8 p.m., when two cars collided on Croton Falls Road in Carmel, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Luckily, no injuries resulted from the collision, fire officials said. The crash caused the road to close for around 30 minutes to allow crews to clean up vehicle fluids and remove the cars.
