Photos: House Fire Breaks Out Overnight In Area
Three people were hospitalized overnight when a fire broke out and tore through a Putnam County home, officials said.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 18, first responders were dispatched to Oak Road West in Lake Secor, when a fire ravaged a one-story home, Jack Casey, spokesman for the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department, said.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the house fully engulfed in flames, with the residents outside the home.

Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department Open House Coming Soon
It's time for fun and free food again when the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department hosts its annual Open House.
The event, from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Mahopac Falls Main Station, 17 Luccaro Lane off of Route 6N, will include demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids and adults, a safety trailer to learn about fire safety, and a chance for all to spray the fire hoses and try on firefighter gear.
