Library Needs Over $1M To Stay Open After Financial Irregularities Found In Westchester A library in Westchester will need more than $1 million to stay open after it was led to believe by a former senior staffer that it possessed a large surplus of funds that did not exist, officials said.  The Mamaroneck Public Library will need around $1.4 million over the next two fiscal years to stay in operation or it will have to close on Thursday, June 1, according to Mamaroneck Mayor Tom Murphy.
