Employee Caught Stealing $245 At Jefferson Valley Mall Macy's, Police Say A teenager has been charged with stealing hundreds of dollars from her employer at the Jefferson Valley Mall, police said. Shortly after 6:45 p.m. on Monday, May 7, investigators from the Yorktown Police Department received a call from Macy’s with a report of an employee who had been detained for a larceny complaint. Upon arrival at the scene, an investigation by officers found that Peekskill resident Jocelyn Bernard, 19, had allegedly stolen $245 from her employer.
