Woman Charged With DWI After Hit-Run Crash In Yorktown A woman wrestled with police in Northern Westchester after allegedly drinking, driving, being involved in a hit-and-run crash and attempting to flee the scene before being busted. Officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Crompond Road shortly before 4:15 p.m. on April 26, where there was a report of a crash, where a driver left the scene after causing property damage. Police said the investigation into the crash determined that one of the drivers involved in the crash was a Sunny Ridge Road resident in Yorktown.
