A Westchester school district reported nearly a dozen new COVID-19 cases that were confirmed in students and staffers over the extended holiday break. A school district in Northern Westchester with dozens of staff members under COVID-19 quarantine is closing for in-person education. Ossining High School and Park School will switch to remote learning Monday, Nov. 16 through Friday, Nov. 20. The Anne M. Despite a recent rise in COVID-19 cases across the nation in the past two months, there may not be as large a correlation between the new cases and schools reopening in the fall, according to newly released studies. One day after welcoming students back to some school buildings, a school district in Westchester is facing its first COVID-19 crisis. On Monday, Oct. 19, the New Rochelle School District transitioned to its hybrid learning model, with some of its youngest students returning to in-person learning.
