Former VP Of Teamsters Labor Union From Area Admits To Bribery
The former vice president of a teamsters labor union from the Hudson Valley admitted soliciting and receiving tens of thousands of dollars in bribes from an administrator for the health care plan of his union. Orange County resident John Ulrich, 48, of Newburgh, the former vice president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 812, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to solicit and receive bribe payments to influence the operation of an employee benefit plan.
