18-Year-Old Charged With Raping Victim Twice In Area, Police Say An 18-year-old has been charged with forcibly raping a victim on two separate occasions in the area. State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested the teen on two counts of first-degree rape, a Class B felony. Troopers were dispatched to Route 55 in the town of LaGrange for a domestic dispute on Monday, May 20. Further investigation found the suspect forcibly raped the victim on two separate occasions, state police said. Three Area Residents Charged In Drug Deal Gone Bad, Police Say Three area residents were arrested and charged for a crazy drug deal gone bad that included one of the men hanging onto a vehicle and being dragged, state police said. The incident took place around 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, when the New York State Police troopers and members of the Village of Fishkill Police Department responded to Route 9 for a report of a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian with vehicles chasing one another, said Trooper AJ Hicks, spokesman for the state police.
