Westchester Man Attempts To Hit Trooper With Vehicle Before Caught In Chase, Police Say A Westchester man was arrested for attempted assault and other charges after taking New York State Police on a pursuit that began on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The incident began when troopers attempted to stop Tylik D. Wilson Brown, 22, of Yonkers, around 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, in a 2014 Kia Forte for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Greenburgh, said Trooper AJ Hicks. New Canaan Police say they observed a motorist traveling northbound on South Avenue on Saturday, May 11 around 2:30 a.m. The vehicle allegedly swerved toward the police cruiser as it passed. The vehicle then pulled into the Mobil Station, and police say they observed the driver sitting inside, hunched over in sleep. Impaired Motorist, 23, Caught With Drugs After Cortlandt Crash A 23-year-old man is behind bars after Oxycodone and other drugs were found in his car following a crash in Northern Westchester in which state police say he was driving while impaired. Troopers were dispatched to the crash on Red Mill Road in Cortlandt at about 4:50 a.m. Thursday, March 15. Once on scene, troopers observed a 1999 Honda Civic that had struck a tree and utility pole.
