Greenburgh Police Chief To Become Chief Criminal Investigator For Westchester DA There’s going to be a new sheriff in town, as longtime Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney plans to pursue new opportunities in law enforcement in Westchester County. McNerney advised the Greenburgh Town Board that he intends to retire from the Greenburgh Police Department as of Sunday, Aug. 25, as he takes a job with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office as their Chief Criminal Investigator. Timothy Davis, 14, went missing at around 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10 in Washingtonville, a village in the Town of Blooming Grove in Orange County. Missing Hudson Valley Student, 14, Found Dead An area teen who was reported missing late last week was found dead on Sunday, according to school officials. Timothy Davis, 14, went missing at around 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10 in Washingtonville,  a village in the Town of Blooming Grove in Orange County. Westchester Welcomes New Police Academy Graduates Sixty police recruits graduated Friday, May 25 from the Westchester County Police Academy and have landed coveted law enforcement jobs at 16 police departments in Westchester and one in New York City.
