A Dutchess County martial arts instructor has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing multiple children over the course of several years, authorities announced.
Tyler G. Leclerc, age 28, of Hyde Park, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Feb. 5, New York State Police said on Thursday, Feb. 6.
According to authorities, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at the State Police Poughkeepsie barracks first received a report of child sexual abuse on Friday, Jan. 31. Their investigation uncovered evidence that Leclerc had victimized multiple children over an extended period, police said.

Curtis Ellington, age 33, of Junction City, Kansas, was arraigned on child sex crimes charges in federal court in White Plains on Thursday, June 1.
According to the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District, Ellington slept at the 15-year-old victim’s Orange County home in April 2023, and engaged in sexual activity with them.

A man has been accused of recording his sexual abuse of a child, state police said.
On Friday, Aug. 28, State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks responded to an address in the town of Stanford for a report of sexual assault.
An investigation revealed Santiago A. Andujar, 41, of Stanford, recorded his sexual assault of a child Andujar was familiar with, state police said.
