Thanks to quick action from firefighters, a Northern Westchester home remained unscathed after a car burst into flames inside its garage. The blaze began on Tuesday, July 30, just before 7 p.m., when a vehicle went up in flames inside a Chappaqua residence on North Way, according to the Chappaqua Fire Department. Multiple people were injured after two vehicles caught on fire on a busy parkway in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Monday, May 20 around 11:45 a.m., when three cars were involved in a collision on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Chappaqua at Roaring Brook Road. The fire at the Northern Westchester compound of former President Bill Clinton and 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Tuesday was the result of a bathroom fan shorting out, according to New Castle Supervisor Rob Greenstein.
