Man Charged After Masturbating In Public Parking Lot, Authorities Say A 23-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested for masturbating in a public parking lot in Putnam County, police said.  On Thursday, Dec. 10, State Police at the Brewster barracks said they responded to reports of a man masturbating in a public parking lot on Route 22 in the town of Southeast at approximately 7:15 p.m. Maxwell D. Cleary of Bethel was charged with the misdemeanor of public lewdness.  Cleary will appear in the town of Southeast Court in December to answer his charges.

New York State Police from the Brewster Barracks initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 684 after observing the driver of a 2019 Nissan Sentra operating as a taxi service commit an infraction on Friday, Dec. 6 around 9 a.m. in Southeast. Initial investigation with the driver led to probable cause to search the vehicle, according to police. Unlicensed I-684 Driver Caught With Cocaine, 30 Grams Of Pot, Police Say A 30-year-old man is behind bars after a stop on I-684 led to the discovery of both cocaine and marijuana, state police from the Brewster barracks. Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 Ford Escape on I-684 in Southeast on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 1:45 a.m. for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. While interviewing the operator, a strong odor of marijuana was detected, state police said. Further investigation found approximately 30.2 grams of marijuana and 3.7 grams of cocaine.
