Northern Westchester Clerk Cited For Selling Alcohol To Underage Youth A Northern Westchester gas station clerk was cited recently for selling beer to a 16-year-old who was assisting Westchester County Police with alcohol compliance checks at businesses that sell alcohol. The underage youth, under the supervision of county police, was sent into 17 stores in Cortlandt to attempt to buy a six-pack of beer. He was able to purchase beer on one occasion and was turned away at the other establishments. A summons was issued to a clerk at the Gulf station at 2701 East Main Street charging the business with Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage to a Minor. The coun…
