YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Huskers 9U team recently defeated the Hudson Valley Admirals to win the 2015 4th Grade Taconic Youth League championship.

The game was a defensive fight, yielding no score until less than two minutes in regulation. It looked like it would result in a repeat of the 2014 8U championship tie between the same two opponents.

With the Huskers facing fourth down and 6 to go, Yorktown executed a 15-yard halfback option pass and a 35-yard foot race to the end zone, to go ahead by six points in the final minute of the showdown.
