SHRUB OAK, N.Y. -- Ricky Dizon allowed two hits and struck out four in four innings Thursday as the second-seeded Shrub Oak Storm beat sixth-seeded Shrub Oak 15-5 at Lakeland High School.
This was a Westchester-Putnam Baseball Association 13-and-under semifinal.
Second-seeded Shrub Oak plays top-seeded Mahopac in the final Saturday, 5:30 p.m. at Lakeland. The victors erupted for eight runs in the first inning. Keir Maley had two hits, drove in three runs and scored a run and Dom Dellicurti scored twice, had an RBI and drew three walks.
