SHRUB OAK, N.Y. - Tested by a tough schedule, the Lakeland High boys soccer team is off to a solid start (3-3-1) to the 2016 season, and 12th-year coach Tom Hourahan likes what he sees on the horizon for this year's Hornets.
Lakeland, coming off a stretch of four straight overtime games, finished last fall at 12-5-1, losing in the Class A sectional quarterfinals to Eastchester.
