Students will march in their regiments and will pitch tents to set up their respective camps. This event integrates studies of social studies, English language arts and physical education as children participate in writing diaries, playing music, eating and other workshops.
Here is a tentative schedule of events for the day:
8 a.m. to 9 a.m.- Preparation and camp set-up with volunteers
8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.- Students and staff dress in uniforms in classrooms
9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.- Muster in school parking lot
9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.- March in ranks, snack, set up camp and diary writing
10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.- Music of the Revolution led by Ms. Salustri
10:35 a.m. to 11:05 a.m. - Class and staff photos
11:15 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.- Colonial chicken stew lunch
Noon to 12:30 p.m.- Workshop 1
12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.- Workshop 2
1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Workshop 3
1:40 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.- Assembly with Jonathan Kruk and Rich Bala
2:20 p.m. to 2:35 p.m.- Dismissal to classrooms
