YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- The Yorktown School District's 2015-2016 school budget was overwhelmingly approved by voters Tuesday.
The $97.5 million budget passed 640 votes to 252 votes.
The represents a .5 percent increase from 2014-15 and close to a 1 percent tax increase.
Incumbent board members Jackie Carbone and Christine Montero ran unopposed for new terms.
