'Tip A Yorktown Teacher' To Fight Hunger

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Help combat hunger this holiday season at Traditions 118 on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. by tipping Yorktown Central School District teachers working as guest servers.

All tips and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Yorktown Food Pantry.

The food pantry, Community Help, was founded in the 1960s to serve the families of Yorktown after local churches and other civic organizations pooled their resources to serve those in need.

Traditions 118 is located at 11 Old Tomahawk Street (Route 118) in Granite Springs.
