Summer Sports Camps Slated at Walter Panas

CORTLANDT, N.Y. – Summer sports camps for students in the Lakeland School District are being offered at Walter Panas High School.

The camps are open to students entering grades four through 10 in September, with the exception of cheerleading, which is for grades kindergarten to eight.

All camps will take place on the Panas campus on Croton Avenue, other than track and field, which will be held at Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak.

The first of the four one-week sessions (Monday-Thursday) is scheduled for June 25 to 28 for boys and girls soccer and track and field. Baseball, softball and field hockey will be held July 2 to 6 (except for July 4), volleyball, football and cheerleading from July 9 to 12 and boys and girls basketball and tennis July 16 to 19.

All sessions will run from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost for one session is $100, two sessions $190, three sessions $275 and four sessions $355. Each camper is guaranteed to receive a t-shirt with registration prior to June 8.
