Lakeland Copper Beech Students Collect 51 Blood Donations

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School held another successful blood drive last week as students collected 51 donations.

This included 10 donations of double red cells.

Student volunteers under the direction of sixth-grade teacher Michelle Reuter helped organize the drive, serving as assistants to those donating as well as providing music to entertain everyone.

The school will host another blood drive on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
