A female resident on Spruce Street told police on Aug. 28 she was receiving threatening text messages from the 18-year-old male, whose name is being withheld due to youthful offender status eligibility.

He was parked on Spruce Street at the time of the call. The texts stated he was going to damage her property, officials say.

The 18-year-old was served with a temporary order of protection and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court Thursday, according to police.
