Yorktown Police Search For Missing Man Last Seen In Rye

The Yorktown Police Department is searching for 78-year-old Yorktown Heights resident Garrison "Gary" R. Corwin Jr., who was last seen Sunday night in Rye.

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Police Department was searching Monday for a missing 78-year-old man last seen in Rye on Sunday night.

Garrison "Gary" R. Corwin Jr., of Yorktown Heights, was last seen wearing light-colored shorts and a collared shirt as he left the American Yacht Club on Stuyvesant Avenue in Rye at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Yorktown Police said in a release Monday.

Corwin, who stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, left the club in his 2011 silver Mini Cooper with a black top just after 7:15 p.m., police said. The license plate of the Cooper is EUC3088.
