On Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 12:28 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the intersection of Route 6 and Barger Street following the report of a personal injury auto accident, according to officials.
Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted, revealing that a male identified as Douglas J. Trawick allegedly traveled through a steady red light at the intersection while operating a 2005 Jaguar westbound on Route 6, police report.
A computer check at the scene revealed that Trawick’s New York state driver’s license was suspended, according to police.
Trawick was arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, an unclassified misdemeanor, and red light violation, a traffic infraction, police report.
Following processing, Trawick was issued a traffic summons and released on $100 bail, officials report.
He is scheduled to answer the charges against him in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, Jan. 19, according to police.
