Yorktown Man Charged With Throwing Family Member Against Wood-Frame Bed

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man was charged with assault after throwing a family member against a wood bed frame on Tuesday, according to Yorktown Police.

Police arrested William Lambert, 53, after investigating a domestic violence complaint at a home on Beaver Drive, police said.

During the dispute, police determined that Lambert had thrown the family member against the bed, causing pain and injury.

He was process and released on his own recognizance. He is set to appear in court on Thursday. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
