Police said an officer made a traffic stop after a vehicle was observed failing to stay within its traffic lane on Ridge Street. Cozzi was arrested on the driving while intoxicated charge, police said. A blood test determined his blood alcohol content was .08 percent or more, leading to the additional charge, police said.
Cozzi was transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. He was released to a family member and ordered to return to Yorktown Justice Court on June 11 at 6 p.m. for arraignment.
