The trio -- one 17-year-old male, who was charged as an adult, and two 15-year-old males -- took about $96 worth of merchandise from Sears , police said.
The unidentified suspects were all from Jefferson Valley, police said.
The older teen was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
The two 15-year-olds were charged with juvenile delinquency. If they had been adults, they would also have been charged with petit larceny, police said.
All were released in their parents’ custody.
The 17-year-old is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
The other two boys are to appear at the Department of Probation on Thursday, Sept. 16, police said.
