Police Issue 41 Tickets During Taconic State Parkway Speed Detail

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks issued 41 tickets during a speed enforcement detail on the Taconic State Parkway on Thursday, police said.

Tickets were issued for offenses ranging from speeding to following too closely.

State police said they will continue these types of details "in an effort to make the roadways safer for the motoring public."
