Police Charge Woman With Stealing Clothes From Yorktown Sears

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A woman was charged Wednesday with petty larceny, according to Yorktown police.

Jessica R. Lopez, of Holmes, was detained by security at Sears after allegedly exiting the store without paying for $148 in clothes, Yorktown police report.

Lopez, 33, was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charge Dec. 1 in Yorktown Court, officials report.

Lopez was then released on $150 bail, according to Yorktown police.
