Man Steals Drone In Yorktown Parking Lot, Police Say

A 60-year-old man was arrested and charged with stealing a drone from a parking lot in Yorktown Heights on Thursday.

Henry Johnson of Yorktown was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.

A person reported his drone and his accessories were stolen from the parking lot at 1864 Commerce Street on Oct. 7. The victim received an anonymous tip of the location of the drone and a police investigation led to Johnson.

Johnson was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on Nov. 21.
