YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 31-year-old Putnam Valley resident was arrested and charged in Yorktown Tuesday after he failed to appear in court to answer a drug charge.
Vincent Pasciucco had missed a court appearance on Aug. 22 after being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
Westchester County Corrections produced Pasciucco, who was in their custody on an unrelated charge, police said. Bail was set at $2,000 and Pasciucco was turned back over to corrections, police said.
In July, Police observed Pasciucco crossing a double yellow line on East Main Street. An investigation at the scene revealed Pasciucco to be in possession of the heroin, police said.
Pasciucco is due back in court on Sept. 12.
