Man Charged With DWI In Yorktown Following Two-Car Route 6 Crash

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Peekskill man was charged with driving while intoxicated after Yorktown Police received calls of a two-car accident on Route 6, according to the Yorktown Police Department.

Benito Fajardo, 41,  was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI after officers arrived on scene of the accident at the intersection of Mountain Brook Road and Route 6 and found that he was intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .18, more than twice the legal limit, according to Yorktown Police.

Fajardo was released to a family member on $100 bail and is set to appear in court on Nov. 3.
