Man, 55, Charged With Drinking In Public In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A 55-year-old Binghamton man is facing a violation charge in Yorktown after police said they saw him with an open container of beer in a Yorktown parking lot.

Patrick J. Kirkwood, of Susquehanna Street, Binghamton, was issued a ticket to appear in court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, in Yorktown, police said. Police said they got the call about 8 p.m. Sunday about a man drinking alcohol in public.

When officers arrived, they saw him with an open can of beer in a parking lot on Lee Boulevard in Yorktown, police said.
