David P. Jimenez was stopped by Peekskill police Oct. 17 for an unrelated investigation, and Yorktown police were later notified, police said. A bench warrant had been issued out of Yorktown Oct. 6 after Jimenez failed to appear in court to answer for unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Jimenez appeared in Yorktown Justice Court after the arrest, and he was released with a Wednesday court date, police said.
