Father, Son Stole Money From Elderly Woman, Yorktown Police Say

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A father and son duo from Harrison were arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing money from an elderly woman who lived at a senior living complex.

John E. MacInnes, Sr., 54 and John E. MacInnes, Jr., 26, were arrested and charged with petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.

Police were called to The Country House to investigate a past larceny, and determined the MacInnes' entered her room and stole money from her.

They were released on their own recognizance and are due back in Yorktown Town Court on June 13.
