Joseph Popovic, of Yonkers, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 12, after Yorktown Police responded to a complaint of a vehicle in the parking lot of the BJ's Wholesale Club at 3333 Crompond Road (Route 202), in Yorktown Heights, said the Yorktown Police.

When officers responded they found that Popovic had allegedly been driving while burning out in circles, making excessive noise and smoke while in the parking lot filled with people and other vehicles, and obstructing traffic, police said.

He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and released on his own recognizance.

Popovic is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 14.
